Non-invasive take-off/touch-down velocity measurements

A new method for take-off/touch-down velocity measurement is presented. The method makes use of frequency jitter in the readback signal, is non-invasive, can detect a slider sway down to 0.08 nm, and is also useful for glide testing.< >
