Summary:An electrochemical membrane system of roller type is proposed for the separation of solutions in manufacturing and in the chemical industry. The total separation surface, the surfaces of the cathode and anode membranes, and the total cooling area of the solution per unit volume of the equipment are calculated. The strength of the key components (the casings and the left and right caps) is determined, along with the permissible excess pressure in the system.
