Analysing state measures to support agriculture in the Russian Federation

Background. The agricultural sector of any country acts as a guarantor of the food and political security of a sovereign state. Agriculture of the Russian Federation is one of the most important parts of the modern economy of the country. In recent years, Russia has taken a leading position in the export of a number of agricultural products. In this re-gard, a comprehensive study and analysis of state measures to support the agriculture of the Russian Federation allows us to adequately assess the policy of preserving and impro-ving the competitiveness of the Russian agricultural enterprises. Materials and methods. The implementation of the research tasks was achieved on the basis of the study of analyti-cal materials, legislation on the support of agriculture of the Russian Federation. Theoreti-cal and empirical, formalnological, as well as economic and statistical methods of research were used in the work. Results. The main factors of the risk environment of modern agricul-tural enterprises are considered, their typification by type is given, qualitative analysis, PESTLE analysis and SWOT analysis of the main regulatory legal acts related to the agri-cultural policy of the Russian Federation in the field of agricultural support are carried out. Conclusions. The policy of preserving and improving the competitiveness of Russian agri-cultural enterprises is evaluate.
