Summary: | Abstract The present research aimed at detecting the heart rate response after each set of the match. It also aimed at measuring the heart rate the rest between intervals. The research was applied on a sample taken from Iraqi national team of fencing where the heart rate was measured after each set. The following results are obtained: 1. The heart rate increases significantly from one set to another. 2. The rest (one minute) between intervals is not enough to minimize the heart rate to its natural level. 3. The greatest significant difference in the heart rate occurs after the effort exerted and after the rest interval which indicates the physical agility of the player. |
