ChemInform Abstract: Hetereogeneous Transition-Metal-Free Alcohol Oxidation by Graphene Oxide Supported Iodoxybenzoic Acid in Water

A highly loaded graphene oxide supported iodoxybenzoic acid derivative is described and successfully applied as heterogeneous and recyclable reagent for the oxidation of alcohols to the corresponding aldehydes or ketones.
