Summary:The article analyzes the actual revenues and spending directions of the budget of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic for 2018-2020. Trends in the dynamics of income groups, such as «Tax and non-tax income», «Gratuitous income», as well as for the main items of expenditure, are determined. Econometric models are used to make forecasts of future revenues and expenditures of the budget of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic based on a retrospective analysis of actual indicators over the past 9 years. Based on the results of the study, the main problems in the formation and distribution of the budget of the subject of the federation are determined.
