Summary:Generally there are various changes of bone in Recklinghausen's disease, but pseudarthrosis of the lower leg occurs less frequently. We had encountered three cases of Recklinghausen's disease. The three cases were incomplete form with Cafe' au lait spots and pseu-darthrosis of the lower leg. Osteosynthesis with bone graft was carried out. In all cases the results were followed up, and bone union did not occur in two cases. Therefore, the amputation was done for the two patients. In the other one a bone union was gained enough to walk with apparatus.
