ChemInform Abstract: Ammonium Chloride-Catalyzed One-Pot Synthesis of 4(3H)-Quinazolinones under Solvent-Free Conditions

An economical and environmentally friendly procedure for the synthesis of 4(3H)‐quinazolinones (IV) is developed using an ammonium chloride catalyzed three‐component, one‐pot condensation reaction.
