ChemInform Abstract: An Efficient Method for the Synthesis of N-Amino-2-pyridones Using Reusable Catalyst ZnO Nanoparticles

The title compounds (IV) are obtained by a concise and highly efficient four‐component one‐pot coupling of hydrazine hydrate, ethyl cyanoacetate (I), malononitrile (II), and various aromatic aldehydes (III) under mild reaction conditions.
