Summary:The soil mycofloras in two sand-dune soils are described in terms of the commonly occurring fungi. This approach allowed the accumulation of sufficient data to permit satisfactory statistical analyses. The results obtained indicate that although the soils could be characterized by contrasting elements in their mycofloras, the successful development of certain fungi was significantly affected by temperature of incubation. Seasonal factors and fertilizer addition had a negligible effect.
