Summary:Rathke’s cleft cyst is one of the causes of hyperprolactinemia. It forms due to pituitary malformation during embryonic period. Nowadays the correct diagnosis still possesses some issues with interpretation of visual data and variable clinical picture. The article presents a clinical case of a patient with Rathke’s cleft cyst that was initially managed as prolactinoma.
