Summary:We evaluated the clinical results and cervical alignment in 26 cases of cervical spondylotic myelopathy. All patients had had a cervical laminopasty at least a year previously. At follow-up kyphotic and S-shaped type cases did not achieve such good clindcal results. Group A cases refained alignment of lordosis and this straight-type achieved good clinical results. Group B cases which changed to other types had a fair response. Group A kept their curvature index compared to Group B. Cases which maintained their curvature index within 5* achieved better clinical results than those over 5 and this difference was significant (p<0.05).
