Summary:Cerebrovascular disease is one of the most common pathologies in the practice of a neurologist. Vascular cognitive impairment is the earliest and most objective sign of cerebrovascular pathology. The correction of vascular risk factors – antihypertensive, antiplatelet, lipid-lowering therapy, have the leading role in the treatment of patients with cerebrovascular diseases. It is necessary to pay special attention to non-drug methods of therapy, such as quitting smoking and alcohol abuse, regular physical activity. The possibilities of using dipyridamole for symptomatic and pathogenetic therapy are discussed.
