Summary:It was operated 24 patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST). Robot-assisted method was applied in 15 observations, laparoscopy - in 9 patients. Laparoscopic operations were preferable for GIST localized in anterior wall or greater curvature of stomach, in small intestine and caecum. Robot-assisted GIST removal was performed in case its location in posterior wall of stomach, on lesser curvature of stomach, in duodenum, what required organ's dissection or had a risk of great vessel injury.
