Summary:Current state in the investigation of the influence of external mechanical stresses on the electrical resistance (tensoresistive effect) of the amorphous metallic alloys is considered. The data of experimental studies of tensoresistance for a series of amorphous ferromagnetic alloys are presented and analyzed. The mechanism of tensoresistance of amorphous ferromagnetics is proposed and theoretically justified. The influence of external magnetic field on the tensoresistance is also considered. The possibility of application of the phenomenological model of magnetization and anisotropy-field formalism to the interpretation of ΔЕ-effect and its role in the tensoresistance is discussed.
