Summary:Playing is the leading childhood activity, and has a central place in the development of the child. Through the games children are developing cognitive abilities, encouraging creativity and increasing physical and mental abilities. The main object of the children's play is the child's toy. In the earlier times, the children made toys themselves, and for making it they used natural materials. In critical moments, when the children could not manage to it on their own, they were assisted by it's family members or their friends. The toy was slowly receiving it's form and it was 'looming slowly'. In this way, the toy includes, the child's imagination about how this toy should look like and memory of the family members and their friends which are participating in its construction. In modern times, because of industrialization and commercialization, the toy lost this property. The absence of natural properties in these modern toys is reflected in the three aspects; (A) Artificial materials which are used for the production of modern toys, (B) Absence of social and emotional components which is presented when children independently made toys and (C) Child is slowly reaching to their point. Because, in the future production of modern toys, more and more natural materials will be used and the significant inclusion of parents into playing with the child. In this way, the toy gets a new quality and the connection between parents and child becomes healthier and more stable. The special moment is when the purchased toy is damaged. This is the time, when the parents are activated in the repair of the toy together with their child. The time, when the child is together with the parents, repairing its toy will be very important for a proper child development.
