Summary: | The aim of the research is to know (the impact of the mind maps strategy on developing critical thinking among students of the Arabic Language Department in the colleges of basic education in the subject material), and to achieve the research goal the researchers formulated the null hypothesis (there is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average The degrees of achievement of students of the experimental group who study the subject of the presentations according to the mental maps, and between the average levels of achievement of the students of the control group who study the subject of the method prevailing in the test (critical thinking). The researchers intentionally chose the College of Basic Education / Al-Mustansiriya University as a sample for their research, and by random drawing method, Hall (1) and the number of its students were selected (35) students to represent the experimental group, and Hall (2) and the number of students (32) students, to represent the control group and thus the research sample formed Of (59) male and female students, the researchers rewarded between the two research groups in the two variables of previous cognitive achievement and intelligence, and they adopted the California Test (2000) for critical thinking as a measure to measure critical thinking for the two research groups, and they used the appropriate statistical means for their research. The result of the research showed that there is a difference of statistical significance at the level of significance (0.05) for the benefit of the experimental group. In light of the research result, the researchers concluded several conclusions, and recommended several recommendations, and they proposed several proposals. |
