Summary:Viral C hepatitis affects 3% of the globe population and associates multiple haematological abnormalities such as anemia and neutropenia, which may increase during antiviral treatment. That’s why we considered it necessary to evaluate the haematological manifestations found before and during the antiviral therapy in patients with viral hepatitis C, by performing a retrospective and prospective study, during 2009-2017, of 62 children with viral hepatitis C, admitted in Clinic II Pediatrics, St. Mary's Hospital, Iasi.
