Nonblocking 4 \times 4 Silicon Electro-Optic Switch Matrix With Low Power Consumption
A low-power, nonblocking 4 × 4 electro-optic switch matrix based on silicon-on-insulator is reported. Power consumptions of different routing states, ranging from 2.07 to 24.23 mW, are realized with 1200-μm-long modulation arms. For the routing states with the minimum and maximum power consumption,...

Summary: | A low-power, nonblocking 4 × 4 electro-optic switch matrix based on silicon-on-insulator is reported. Power consumptions of different routing states, ranging from 2.07 to 24.23 mW, are realized with 1200-μm-long modulation arms. For the routing states with the minimum and maximum power consumption, crosstalk of less than -17 and -12 dB are obtained~1550 nm, respectively. |
