Summary:Butadiene--acrylonitrile rubbers (BNK) are widely used in the manufacture of different rubber products and mechanical rubber goods. One of the urgent tasks associated with the use of BNK has been and remains the analysis of the ageing of vulcanized BNK, in particular in the temperature region above 100 degree Celsius. Among other things Dreval et al studies the aspects for BNK specimens that have been under different storage conditions for a long period of time.
