Summary: | A 28-year-old woman presented to our hospital with a 1-month history of dry cough and an abnormal chest radiograph. Chest X-ray and computed tomography showed multiple cysts containing a well-defined air-fluid level in the posteroinferior portion of the right lower lobe. Aortography showed an aberrant artery arising from the right inferior phrenic artery supplying the sequestration. A right lower lobectomy was performed, as the patient is likely to suffer repeated bouts of pneumonia in the future. Intralobar pulmonary sequestration supplied from the inferior phrenic artery is extremely rare, with only 2 cases previously reported. |
