Summary: | In this paper, a new switched-boost four-leg inverter is proposed to suppress the leakage current and provide high reliability. The proposed inverter provides full shoot-through immunity by replacing the active switch in the impedance-source network to improve the reliability of the inverter system. The SVM control scheme without dead-time insertion is derived to achieve constant common-mode voltage. Hence, the leakage current of the proposed inverter is also effectively suppressed. The proposed inverter's operating principle, steady state, and SVM control scheme are discussed. Finally, simulation and experimental verifications of a 1.2-kVA laboratory-scale hardware are set up to perform the effectiveness of the proposed inverter. |
