Summary:Eighty-two chick pea genotypes from the VIR collection were studied in 2010–2012 under conditions of Oryol oblast, demonstrating that the duration of the vegetation period, productivity, and other elements of the yield structure greatly depend on the conditions of the year. A dendrogram was constructed that divides the studied genotypes into three clusters according to their morphological characteristics. Productive, large-seed, and early-ripening accessions are singled out.
