Summary:Drug-drug interactions are a serious public health problem because they are cause of adverse drug reactions and one of the reasons for hospitalization of patients. Many patient’s admissions associated with drug-drug interactions could be avoided by proper medical supervision over the condition of patients or by using of alternative drugs. The analysis of spontaneous reports was used for assessment of adverse drug reactions caused by drug-drug interactions and defined the scope of the problem in Russia.
