Propuesta metodológica para la apropiación y construcción social del conocimiento a través de la cartografía comunitaria y la Investigación Acción Participativa. Un acercamiento a Santo Domingo Savio como lugar

Este ejercicio investigativo se piensa desde el marco epistemológico-metodológico de la Investigación Acción Participativa –IAP– y la cartografía comunitaria para la apropiación del espacio y la construcción social del conocimiento. La Investigación Acción Participativa se sitúa como mediación de un proceso que busca resignificar las prácticas socio-culturales e históricas, así como el reconocimiento de los sujetos, en cuanto, actores y gestores del proyecto barrial y el empoderamiento del lugar habitado en Santo Domingo Savio. Se propone un acercamiento que se desliza por las subjetividades reconocidas con la participación de los agentes del territorio y la interacción simbólica hacia el lenguaje informático cartográfico; ya pues, que desde esta perspectiva es posible plasmar la experiencia en el territorio y los trazos de la vida cotidiana sobre el mapa que pueden reconstruirse en Open Street Maps, para dar cuenta del empoderamiento, apropiación y tensiones que se generan como fenómenos del vínculo sujeto – entorno. El impacto de la incorporación de la Comuna 1 al proyecto de ciudad ha transformado las diferentes dinámicas sociales del barrio con la ciudad, creando otros espacios de interacción e identidad, revelando fricciones y tensiones en el reconocimiento-apropiación que los habitantes hacen de su territorio y sus alrededores, así como las representaciones gráficas que de estas experiencias y transformaciones se pueden leer y las soluciones que se pueden aportar desde el saber cartográfico. This research exercise is thought from the epistemological-methodological framework of Participatory Action Research -PAR- and community mapping for the appropriation of space and social knowledge construction. The Participatory Action Research is situated as a mediation of a process that seeks to resignify socio-cultural and historical practices, as well as the recognition of the subjects as actors and managers of the neighborhood project and empowerment of the habited place in Santo Domingo Savio. It is proposed an approach that slides from subjectivities recognized with participation from agents of the territory and the symbolic interaction toward the computer cartographic language; from this perspective, it is possible to capture the experience in the territory and the traces of daily life on the map, which can be rebuilt in Open Street Maps to give account of the empowerment, appropriation, and tensions that are generated as phenomena of the subject-environment link. The impact of the incorporation of the Comuna 1 into the city project has transformed the different social dynamics of the neighborhood with the city, creating other spaces of interaction and identity, revealing frictions and tensions in the recognition-appropriation that the inhabitants make of their territory and surroundings, as well as the graphic representations of these experiences and transformations that can be read, and the solutions that can be provided from cartographic knowledge.
