Summary: | Taming azide radicals for catalytic C(sp2)−H azidation of benzaldehydes: In this manuscript, dirhodium complexes, represented by the classical Chinese lantern structure, reacted with azide radical to form Rh2(II,III)N3, which is responsible for the azide transfer. In the picture, the girl carrying a lantern illuminates the direction of the paper boats loading the azide radicals, which means the dirhodium complexes direct the free azide radical to the desired reaction pathway.
