Summary:DOI: 10.1002/sscp.202200002 A generic probe methodology was developed using in silico chromatography modeling tools. The separation of a standard multicomponent mixture was optimized on multiple columns/mobile phases. An optimal space across the overlay of different resolution maps is identified and used as a generic probe condition under which the components of the standard mixture will be resolved on all columns/mobile phases combinations. The resulting generic probe is used as a framework for testing column robustness and stability to ensure a straightforward method development and transfer workflow.
