Summary: | The cover shows a cut‐off of the structure of the divalent triflates Ln(CF3SO3)(CH3CN) (Ln = Sm, Eu). The compounds have been obtained by reacting the trivalent triflates with the respective lanthanoide metals in acetonitrile. They have been investigated comprehensively by luminescence spectroscopy, magnetic measurements, and cyclovoltammetry. The highly soluble triflates are promising starting materials for the preparation of further divalent lanthanoide materials. Thus, the new triflates are the new stars on the dancefloor of divalent lanthanoide compounds. More information can be found in the Research Article by M.
