Summary:This study reports six new records of Convolvulaceae for Ceará state, notheastern Brazil: Ipomoea aristolochifolia G.Don, Ipomoea calyptrata Dammer, I. cynanchifolia Meisn, I. longibracteolata Sim.-Bianch. & J. R. I. Wood, I. meyeri G. Don and Jacquemontia mucronifera (Choisy) Hallier f. Of these, I. longibracteolata and I. meyeri are new records for the Atlantic Forest and Caatinga, respectively. For each species registered are provided descriptions, taxonomic and ecological comments, illustrations or photos of diagnostic characters and an ecological niche modeling analysis in northeast Brazil.
