Summary:The end face harmonic gear drive of oscillating teeth is a new type of the spatial oscillating teeth transmission.Its’ load capacity is higher than that of the common harmonic gear drive.In this paper,the meshing state and the normal force of the engagement pair between the front-end of oscillating teeth and the end face gear has been first analyzed,the varied rule of the meshing area has been researched,the formula of the specific pressure are deduced.It provides a reliable basis for the strength design of this new type of transmission.
