ChemInform Abstract: Improved Access to Huprine Derivatives Functionalized at Position 9

The synthetic route towards huprine derivatives (I) with different functional groups at the C9‐position consists of three main steps: enol formation from a bicyclic ketone, Suzuki—Miyaura cross coupling with different boranes and a Friedlaender condensation to access the quinoline moiety.
