Summary:The object of research was the territory of a planned construction of the second stage of a tailings storage facility for flotation tailings of a mining and processing complex based on a gold ore field. To comply with legislative and regulatory requirements regarding environmental protection, a set of works was performed, including laboratory and computational filtration studies. Recommendations were developed based on them to prevent filtration through the flotation tailings storage bed.
