Summary:This article presents some novel results on robust sampled-data H ∞ control for a class of linear systems. The proposed system is affected by time-delay, actuator saturation and external disturbance. The main goal of this paper is to design a state feedback sampled-data controller to guarantee the stability of the resulting closed-loop system with an H ∞ norm bound performance for any initial condition in a bounded set. The other issue is to estimate and enlarge the region of attraction via an optimization algorithm. The obtained conditions are derived in linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) form. Three numerical examples are presented to show the merits of the proposed method.
