New 132-epi-Phaeophorbide a Ethyl Ester from Lantana camara

This study presents the isolation of a new compound from the Lantana genus: 13 2 -epi-phaeophorbide A ethyl ester ( 1 ). Its structure was established based on spectroscopic methods, mainly IR spectroscopy and 1D and 2D NMR, and comparison with literature data.
