Summary: | In the publication of this first edition, the publisher sent a prospectus, in which some of us have been told about the external framework surrounding the sociological books, which is repeated here: "The Research Institute for Social Sciences in Cologne expects the publication of a journal to his tasks. For the time being, two sociological and two socio-political issues will be published each year. The two series are linked by the joint publisher and editorial circle. but since the current research tasks in the two disciplines of sociology and social policy are very different and within the Cologne Institute are assigned to two independent departments, also the series of publications by subject, scientific method and content arrangement will differ. The editorial offices are not the same. the editor of the sociological headlines (Series A) has Professor von Wiese, who has taken over the social policy (row b) Professor Lindemann. sociology will be treated as a purely theoretical science to the exclusion of its practical and political application, while for social policy the use of social teaching in the working life is the main feature. |
