With regard to the fiftieth anniversary (1966-2016) of the approval by the UN General Assembly of the international covenants on economic, social and cultural rights and civil and political rights, which for the Soviet Union did not have any significance, even considering that, in accordance with these covenants, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) acquired legally binding force-.
