This research presents the literary meaning of 'if' and its kinds, then it explains its meanings for the Arabic scholars through the following research aspects: -Prohibited conditional 'if', and its meanings, rules and its answer -Non- prohibited conditional 'if', and its meanings   and rules. -The mutual constrains between  the two conditions of  ' if' followed by some Quranic texts
