Summary:Since 2011, the Moroccan national agricultural strategy contributes to the tourism development of local products, such as the Damascena rose, and their territory of origin. As in the rest of the territory, the agricultural workforce is mainly female in the Rose Valley. This female presence constitutes a major element of the rose's touristic landscape and of the processes of heritage integration. This article proposes to explore the path of women through several spaces: the farm one, the cooperative one and folklore one. It is based on a survey carried out in the Rose Valley among the men and women involved in the rose sector. The comparative analysis allows us to appreciate the weight of empowerment and gender relations in the trajectories of women in a tourist context.
