Summary: | Hereafter, the simulation of the seismic behaviour of R/C barely reinforced shear wall structures, designed according to the French PS92 code is considered. The CAMUS I mock-up, which was tested in the framework of the French research programme (CAMUS) is modelled with a 2-D approach and using a cyclic concrete model. The comparison between analytical and experimental results shows that this approach may reasonably account for the essential phenomena appearing at failure, as strain localisation at the level of steel interruption and diagonal cracking due to shear. |
