Summary:Grafcet is one of the most widely used models for the specification and the implementation of control in manufacturing systems. Nevertheless, Grafcet is not well adapted to the analysis and the verification of safety and liveness properties because it is not based on a mathematical formalism. This article proposes an approach based on the use of the “Timed Transition Model (TTM)/Real-Time Temporal Logic (RTTL)” formal framework as a support to the analysis and verification of properties of Grafcet controlled manufacturing systems.
