Summary:[...]we are currently conducting just such a study, the JACC JGOG1087 trial (UMIN000045224), based on the results of the JGOG1081S-A1 study. In the JGOG1081S-A1 study, our blinded evaluation of surgical procedures, using unedited videos of recurrent cases and carefully matched control cases, was crucial to establishing guidelines for the surgical procedures to be used in a planned prospective study. A retrospective assessment of the safety and efficacy of laparoscopic radical hysterectomy in Japan during the early years following its introduction: a Japanese Gynecologic Oncology Group study (JGOG1081S).
