Summary:Correspondence to Dr Navya Nair, Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, New Orleans, Louisiana LA 70112, USA; nnair5@gmail.com In 1985, the International Gynecologic Cancer Society (IGCS) was established to enhance the care of women with gynecologic cancer worldwide through education, training, and public awareness. In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic brought global travel to an abrupt halt and ushered in a new era of virtual meetings.1 IGCS seized this opportunity and expanded its virtual tumor boards, bringing together gynecologic oncology practitioners across the globe to share the latest knowledge and clinical practice related to the viral pandemic. Scientific and professional development opportunities for early career physicians can be challenging while still honing clinical skills and often carrying heavy patient loads.
