Summary:Liu, Z.; Li, H., and Cao, Q., 2019. The construction of a marine tourism image based on grounded theory and the construction of sports thinking. In: Li, L.; Wan, X.; and Huang, X. (eds.), Recent Developments in Practices and Research on Coastal Regions: Transportation, Environment and Economy. Journal of Coastal Research Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 98, pp. 267–270. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208. According to grounded theory, the content of 40 foreign articles (School of Management, Ocean University of China, Qingdao 266100, Shandong, China) was encoded by the rooted theory coding method. The data were separated by concept and category, and 363 related data were encoded. The five main categories used were development and planning, basic cognition, visitor perception, environment, and economic conditions. Through further processing and analysis of the data, 20 keywords were extracted to describe ocean tourism, and an image of ocean tourism was constructed.
