Summary:Jasminum kontumense B.H. Quang sp. nova (Oleaceae) from Kon Tum Province of Vietnam is described here. It is morphologically similar to J. pentaneurum and J. annamense, but differs from them by having subovate to ovate, rarely suborbicular or elliptic leaf blades with 3 veins arising from base, and the inflorescence which is a compound cyme with 3–6 flowers. A taxonomic description, a table comparing the morphological characters of the three species, and colour photographs are provided.
