Summary:Objectives To investigate the effect of adenosine cyclophosphate to increase myocardial enzyme in primary hypothyroidism. Methods 84 case of primary hypothyroid with myocardial enzyme increasing were randomly divided into two groups: treatment group (42cases) and control group (42 cases) . Treatment group with Adenosine Cyclophosphate and thyroid hormone, control group only with thyroid hormone. Before and at 2 weeks after treatment the levels of serum FT3, FT4, TSH, AST, LDH, CK, CK-MB, and HBDH were measured. Results Before treatmenttwo groupsthe level of myocardial enzyme and thyroid hormone was no statistics difference. After treatmenttwo groupsthe levels of myocardial enzyme have statistics difference between two groups. In the treatment group before treatment compare to after treatment have statistics difference. But thyroid hormone was no statistics difference. Conclusions Adenosine Cyclophosphate can improve the levels of myocardial enzyme in primary hypothyroidism.
