Some notable exclusions from presented ranges include the Green River from E. asprigene and E. blennioides, tributaries to the middle Ohio River from E. camurum, the Buffalo River from E. anereum, the southern bend of the Tennessee River from E. jessiae, and the upper Cumberland and Tennessee Rivers from E. kennicotti.
