Summary:Complex network theory is being widely used to study many real-life systems. One of the fields that can benefit from complex network theory approach is transportation network. In this paper, we briefly review the complex network theory method assimilated into transportation network research and the analysis it provided. It is irrefutable that complex network theory is capable to explain the structure, dynamic, node significance, performance as well as evolution of the transportation network.
