Summary:Based on reservoir temperature measurement data from twenty-three reference well cross-sections and paleotemperature modeling, the thermal history of Lower-Jurassic Togur source rock within Nurolsk megadepression and its framing structures have been reconstructed. Plotted maps showed the density distribution of initial accumulated oil resources for Lower J sub(15)-J sub(16) formations. Based on performed zoning of reservoirs the areas for priority hydrocarbon prospecting were proposed.
