Evidence for adsorption of the cobaltocenium cation and precipitation of uncharged cobaltocene at the platinum microelectrode-acetonitrile interface in the absence of supporting electrolyte

The reduction of the cobaltocenium cation to uncharged cobaltocene and to the cobaltocenium anion was examined voltametrically in acetonitrile in the presence and absence of supporting electrolyte using platinum microdisk electrodes.
