Oscillations and pattern formation during electrodeposition of lead metal in batch and flow reactors

Cathode potential changes with time during the process of electrodeposition of lead metal from its aqueous solutions in batch reactor as well as in a continuously stirred tank reactor (CSTR) have been reported. Growth kinetics at constant current /potential has been studied for correlation. Influenc...

Summary:Cathode potential changes with time during the process of electrodeposition of lead metal from its aqueous solutions in batch reactor as well as in a continuously stirred tank reactor (CSTR) have been reported. Growth kinetics at constant current /potential has been studied for correlation. Influence of electrolyte concentration, applied current and certain polymer additives on morphologies, and oscillatory characteristics have been investigated.
